Get NathanLR up and running on your device

⚠️ Important: Jailbreaking your device may void your warranty and could potentially cause instability. Always backup your device before proceeding. NathanLR is provided as-is, and we are not responsible for any damage to your device.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, ensure you meet the following requirements:

  • iOS Version: Your device must be running iOS 16.5.1, 16.6, 16.6.1, 16.7 RC, or 17.0
  • Device Compatibility: Check our Supported Devices page to verify your device is compatible
  • Storage: Ensure you have at least 500MB of free storage space
  • Backup: Create a full backup of your device using iTunes or iCloud
  • Internet Connection: Stable internet connection required for download

Step-by-Step Installation

Download NathanLR

Download the latest version of NathanLR from our official repository. You can access the download link below:

Install via AltStore/Sideloadly

NathanLR can be installed using popular sideloading tools:

AltStore Method

  1. Install AltStore on your computer
  2. Connect your iOS device via USB
  3. Open AltStore and select "Install AltStore"
  4. Sign in with your Apple ID
  5. Install NathanLR IPA file through AltStore

Sideloadly Method

  1. Download and install Sideloadly on your computer
  2. Connect your iOS device
  3. Open Sideloadly and select NathanLR IPA
  4. Enter your Apple ID credentials
  5. Click "Start" to begin installation

Trust the Developer Certificate

After installation, you need to trust the developer certificate:

  1. Go to Settings → General → VPN & Device Management
  2. Find the certificate for NathanLR
  3. Tap on it and select "Trust"
  4. Confirm by tapping "Trust" again

Launch NathanLR

Once installed and trusted, you can launch NathanLR from your home screen:

  1. Locate the NathanLR app icon
  2. Tap to open the application
  3. Grant any necessary permissions when prompted

Execute the Jailbreak

With NathanLR open, follow these steps:

  1. Ensure your device is unlocked and connected to a stable network
  2. Tap the "Jailbreak" button
  3. Wait for the process to complete (should take under one second)
  4. Your device will respring automatically upon completion

The jailbreak process is fast and should complete in under one second thanks to our optimized PAC bypass.

Install Tweaks

After successful jailbreak, you can install rootless tweaks:

  1. Install a package manager like Sileo or Zebra
  2. Add repositories for rootless tweaks
  3. Browse and install tweaks compatible with Dopamine/rootless architecture
  4. Respring your device after installing tweaks

Troubleshooting

Installation Fails

  • Ensure your device is running a supported iOS version
  • Check that you have enough storage space
  • Try restarting your device and computer
  • Verify your Apple ID credentials are correct

Jailbreak Doesn't Work

  • Make sure you've trusted the developer certificate
  • Check that your iOS version is exactly one of the supported versions
  • Try rebooting your device and attempting again
  • Ensure no other jailbreak tools are installed

App Crashes

  • Delete and reinstall NathanLR
  • Clear app cache by restarting your device
  • Check for iOS updates that might affect compatibility
  • Contact support if the issue persists
